Such a Mess

It seems like every time I turn around Lucy is wanting her picture with Lando. This night had put about a bazillion stickers on him!

Poor fella...he puts up with a lot!
I was getting ready one morning and turn around to see Lucy putting on my sports bra. What a funny girl. She certainly keeps me entertained.

Ginger Bread House

I picked up Lucy a gingerbread house to decorate. So it looks as if Jeff and I are no ginger bread house experts. We did this right after dinner...don't you love how she has 3 cups out.

Putting on some candy
She wanted to show me her candy. I think she ate more than she put on the house
What a pitiful house. As you can see, the roof is falling off and doesn't even meet in the middle. The Christmas tree in the right corner is what held it up. Ha. I think it was a little hot in our house that night.
Little Cheeser

We met with our builder a few weeks ago about clearing the lot. We had to decide on what to keep and what to cut down. I hate to say that it looks like all the trees are going to have to go. Our plan is to plant palm trees once the building is done. Here are a few pictures of the lot before we start the process. Which by the way, we meet with the attorney tomorrow to close on the construction loan. That means clearing of the lot will be either the end of this week or beginning of next week! I am so excited but so confused at the same time. There are WAY too many things for us to pick out! Agh...Not to mention I am due in 9 weeks!!

Looking down the street you can see the water so well this time of year.

The belly is expanding

Jeff's work had their annual Christmas party Friday night. It was the first time I have "dressed up" in a long time. I even put on heels for the occasion. Since I actually looked half-way decent I decided to have Jeff take a belly picture. At this point I am 29 weeks which meant I was on bed rest last time around. With Lucy at 29 weeks I couldn't even put on shoes but so far so swelling! I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I am sure that Jeff is real happy that he made it under this post title but it has nothing to do with him. He is still slim and trim. But this is the beautiful picture of the stache this week. It is starting to get out of control and growing straight out.

A Visit with Santa

My mom and I went to the mall on Monday and Lucy saw Santa talking to other children. Since then that is all she has talked about. Going to see Santa to sit in his and tell him she wants a Barbie Jeep. I had no idea how she would be once we got there. As as she saw him she walked right up and got in his lap. She didn't speak to him but just stared at him. I was really impressed that she actually sat in his lap. He gave her a candy cane and for the next 2 hours she talked about "HoHo" giving her a candy cane!

Last years picture
What a difference a year makes. I can't get over how much bigger she is.

Stickers and Mustaches

Here is Jeff's "mug shot"for the week. I got a good close up on him! 2 weeks of growing and he is starting to look a little scary! Lucy and I went with Jeff last night for his weekly check-in. It was too funny to see the different size mustaches on all the men. I would say Jeff is right in the middle on the thickness. Not too much and not real little.
One of Lucy's favorite things these days are stickers. If she gets a sticker then everyone else in the house has to have a sticker as well, including Lando. Ha. I thought it was too funny that she wanted to put them on her forehead. Apparently she did too by the look on her face.
She had been eating a sucker and wanted to show off her pretty green tongue.

Thanksgiving in Lenoir

After we ate lunch with my family we hoped in the car and headed for our trip to Lenoir. Lucy was so excited to see her cousins, Nana and Paw-Paw and the moo cows! I think that Thanksgiving day I surpassed the 4500 calories that people typically eat on Thanksgiving. The food at both homes were so good and the baby was REALLY hungry that day. Hehe....

My babies on their walk back from the cows
On Friday Nana and Paw-Paw kept Lucy while Jeff and I drove up to Boone. It was nice to have a babysitter so we could hang out just the two of us and take our time doing whatever we wanted. We went to the Mast General store and bought the 3 girls a pixi stick. They were too funny eating their flavored sugar! The sticks were almost as tall as Lucy and Anna Grace.
Anna Grace and Paw-Paw
Lucy has a book with a tractor in it and every time she sees the picture she says, Nana/Paw-Paw. I had to make sure that she got a chance to sit on Paw-Paw's tractor.

The girls with their Paw-Paw checking out the cows.
I hope that they are best buddies since they are only 2 days apart. How fun. I never had cousins close to my age so this will be something the girls will get to enjoy.
Here is Jeff's mustache picture for the week. I didn't get to see him on Tuesday so here it is 2 days late. It is starting to get thick at a week of growing!
The best Daddy and his sweet baby girl!
