18 Months!

My baby girl is already 18 months old. She has the best personality and makes me laugh everyday. But on the other hand Lucy is such a hand full. She is into everything and all girl! Dramatic does not even come close. She just learned last week how to "shrill" at the top of her lungs. This makes going out to dinner a little more difficult.

Lucy talks all the time. She is repeating everything we say. She is just so smart and it amazes me each day how much she understands.

We went to the doctor Friday the 18th. It was just for a wellness visit and one shot. Well, the doctor changed that on us. Lucy has had a cough on and off all winter. So during this visit it was bad again and the doctor didn't like the sound and the wheezing. The wellness check turned into a sick visit. We got sent home with a nebulizer, steroid and antibiotic(her ears were red). Poor baby had a rough 2 hour doctors appointment. That means we get to go back for a check-up and then go back for her shot.

Her weight was 23lbs 6oz and 33 inches tall. Normal in weight and tall for her age. I am crossing my fingers that she will be built like her daddy.

Table Trouble

Lucy learned a new trick Wednesday morning. She has figured out how to pull her herself up in the chair and then climb onto the kitchen table. Jeff and I are going to be in big trouble. We typically put things on the table that we don't want her to mess with(remote, cell phone). I guess we are going to have to find a new hiding place.

Oh boy, she pulled the bananas out the bowl they were in and squeezed them real good. Bruised bananas must taste better. HeHe.

Since Jeff and I were crazy climbers we are going to have to keep a close on her. As I showed in an earlier post she tries to climb in her crib, on her changing table and tries to get on her dresser. She is a very curious little girl. But I look at this as a good thing...it means she is smart and trying to learn more.

Fun in the Park

Wednesday, Lucy and I met Jeff for lunch at a park beside his office in Leland. She had a great time playing and eating her picnic lunch. The park had a great area for a little one her age.

This was her first time on a big girl swing. She liked it better than the one for her size.

She kept throwing her head back, sticking her tongue out and laughing.

Banana Time

So Lucy wanted some banana the other day. But instead of me cutting it for her she had to hold it, peel it and bite it off herself. She also wanted "up" so she could sit in the chair to eat. Of course after all of this she only ate half of the banana. But it was fun to watch her. She is growing up so fast and it is breaking my heart. I hear people say things like; I can't wait for my kids to go to school or for them to be old enough to do certain things on their own. But I guess I am total opposite because the thought of her getting bigger and older makes me happy and sad. I just love my sweet little innocent girl.

What a tasty banana! As Lucy would say when she is eating..."ummm,ummm"

She is just too much. Such a sassy, feisty little girl. She is the little girl who gets upset if something is on the floor or crumbs on her fingers. She is a little OCD. We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner one night. They have peanut shells all over the floor and the entire dinner she said "uh-oh" over and over. Poor little girl was born into the wrong family. I am not the best homemaker! She is way more like her Uncle Brad(and not just with cleaning, she has his attitude as well)! Love ya Brad.

Spring has Sprung

Lucy is so happy that it is finally warm. She would stay outside all day if I would let her. She pitches a fit when I bring her inside.

One of her favorite things to do, "I don't know?"

This ball was a little big for her

So it seems that it is more fun to push the tricycle than to ride on it

Just plain cute!

Walking Lando

We had Lando ready to go for a walk but Lucy thought it would be fun to walk him around the house. Too bad Lando did not agree! Ha

Come on Lando, lets go.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Lucy got a Valentines card from Morgan and Caroline for a free krispy kreme doughnut. This was her first doughnut and she LOVED it. She got it honest from her mom and dad...her love for sweets!

She looks just like Jeff
Yummy!
Check out all those teeth. She had 16 teeth. All she had left are her two year molars. I am blaming the teething for her runny nose all winter.

Funny Girl

At least once a day Lucy makes me laugh. The other day after lunch I gave her some veggie chips. She really liked the way they were shaped. So she made it a game eating them.

Clapping her hands while eating
Yay! Look at me...two in my mouth at the same time. She thought this was hilarious. And it does not help when we laugh at her.

Such a Doll

Lucy is such a sweet girl. I took these a few weeks ago and wanted to share that beautiful smile that makes my day every morning that I walk into her room. Every time I look at her I realize how truly lucky I am to have an adorable, healthy and lovable daughter.

This little girl makes my heart melt!!

Hanging Out

Lucy is at the stage if we have something she wants it as well. No matter what it is. Well, that meant she needed some Diet Mt Dew like her daddy.

She also likes to help clean.
Isn't this what you are supposed to do in these containers?

In February we went to Lenoir to visit Jeff's parents. They have cows and Lucy loved visiting them. She mooed and mooed constantly at the cows.

She even let one on the cows lick her hand.

This and That

Here are some pictures from February.

Pretty Girl!!

Talking on the phone. She will use anything as a phone. If she is seating in the high chair with nothing to use as a phone she just puts her hand up to her ear.

Ok...so Lucy tries to climb in her crib. I always thought children tried to climb out. Not Lucy!! She is getting really bad with climbing on everything.

Valentines Day

We hung out with the Earp's a few days before Valentines Day. Lucy has on her adorable Valentines dress. She loves hanging out with Ben.

Trying to sit in Ben's lap
Checking out the horses mouth because it moves and her horses mouth does not

Little Miss is just too funny. One night she entertained herself about 45 minutes pushing her stroller around the house with the hat on her head and lunch bag on her arm. And as you can see Mickey had to be in the stroller.
