Its Been too long

It has been a few months since I have put any pictures on here so there will probably be an overload!  

Little Macy's hair is getting longer so Jeff was messing around with it one night in the tub.

 Jeff and Lucy planted a garden.  This should be very interesting.  But she was so excited

 Our church had an Easter Egg hunt and festivities the weekend before Easter.  Who would have thought we would have needed coats and long pants for this?!  The cold did not stop these girls.

Keeping Me Busy

My sister, Kelly and her daughter, Ainsley came down for a visit.  Kelly braided Lucy's french braided Lucy's bangs.  She wore it to bed and this is what she looked like the next morning!  I love the crimped hair look.

 One windy afternoon Lucy wanted to play with her kite.  She had a blast running around with that kite chasing her.  I love the expression on her face here.

 We got home from school one day and Lucy wanted ice cream(yes, she is in her pajamas...I promise she did not wear those to school).  She was eating it on the couch.  I left the room and when I return this is what I find.  Lucy has gotten Macy a spoon and they standing in front of the couch sharing that yummy ice cream. I have a feeling these two are going to give me a run for my money when they are older and gang up on me!!

 I guess she thought she had mastered the spoon because she decided to give it a whirl for lunch that day.  I turned around and she had pulled her plate over and was chowing down on her mac and cheese.

 Every March, Lucy's school does a hot dog for dad's night.  They go to school, eat hot dogs and play games.  I love that Lucy had to wear a tu-tu with her outfit.  This has become her new thing these days.  She looks fine and happy in this picture but poor girl got sick when she got home.  As soon as they got back the stomach bug got her.  She was so pitiful.  Thankfully no on else in the house got it.  

 Bed time with her buddy.  As you know she sleeps on the floor with Lando.  He has gotten brave and tries to sleep on her pillow.  Really?!  He is one lucky and rotten boy.

Soccer Time

Last week we had our first soccer game.  Lucy was so excited.  Kelly and Ainsley came the weekend and had to come Friday night just so they could go to the game.  She cracked me up because she had absolutely no idea what was going on and what to do.  She would stand in the middle of the field and stare at all the parents yelling.  One time she was just standing there watching a car drive by.  But, she had a ball and that's all that matters.  I love Macy in the background of this picture.  She loves to kick the ball around.

 Game Time.  All the kids took off running after the ball and Lucy stood still.  I, of course. was yelling for her to run.  She later told Jeff that all the yelling made her nervous.  He asked her if she knew what nervous meant?  Her response...nope!  HeHe. She is a mess.  

Funny Little Girls

We got outside and play any chance we get.  Macy wanted to put on her sisters sunglasses.  I love that she wore them for like 30 minutes walking the backyard and swinging.  What child wears sunglasses but won't keep a hair bow in?

Helping out Daddy

Ready to head to the last game of the season.  Go Hawks.  Lucy was cheering the whole way there.

We had planned on Jeff taking her but we changed it up last minute and I took her.  I was pretty excited because I have not been to a game this season.  We had fun with our pom-poms and eating popcorn.

I finally took Lucy for a real haircut.  We got a good 3-4 inches cut.  It looks so much better even though I was so sad to see the curls go.

This is how we eat at our house....on the floor.  Ha! Macy grabbed the bowl off the couch(where Lucy was eating the macaroni and cheese) and decided to feed herself.  This girl doesn't miss a meal.

A Little Lucy Time

The last Saturday in February, Lucy started soccer.  It ended up raining so all they did was meet the coach, get their shirts and soccer ball.  That afternoon I took Lucy to the mall.

 And then we got to meet Hello Kitty.  She was so excited to see her.  It cracks me up how much she loves anything dressed up in a costume.

It was finally warm here the other day so we made sure that we got outside and enjoyed the weather.

  We found a shell in our backyard.  One day we had a crab back there.  It is fun finding treasures in our sandy soil.

Never a dull moment

Lucy and I were playing in the bonus and she left for a few minutes.  This is what she looked like when she returned.  Her pajama bottoms are on her arms and her shirt on her legs.  I think her had really makes the outfit
