The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Lucy loves watermelon as much as I do. Jeff picked one up and she went crazy over it. I can only imagine how much she is going to eat this summer when it is actually in season.

1 Month!!
My sweet baby girl, Macy, celebrated her 1 month on March 4th. It seems like yesterday I was taking these pictures of Lucy and now she is 2 1/2! Macy is such a sweet baby. She is very content and just hangs out all day. She likes her paci but not to the point that she won't go with out it. She is just adorable and has stolen my heart.
We went to Target and let Lucy pick out a toy for using the potty. Of course we try to talk her into a barbie or squinky(like $5 or $10) but no, she want a leaf blower that blows bubbles. It is pretty fun and she is really going to have love it this summer. She has been doing so good using the potty. I have always heard that they will one day just decide to use the potty and that is exactly what happened to us. It was her way of getting more attention since Macy came home. Hey, whatever....less diapers for me!!

Snakes, Iguanas and Turtles...Oh My!!
The first weekend in March the aquarium had a reptiles and tails expo. Since Lucy is obsessed with snakes we had to take her. I have never seen so many snakes in my life. I have so idea where she gets this reptile love from because it is certainly not from her mother.
They had a little area set up where you could feed a couple tortoise.

One of our monthly trips is to Petco for Landos food which is an exciting outing for Lucy. Some weekends they have a reptile rescue set up and have had a few Iguanas. Lucy knew exactly what this was thrilled to see one. As with all reptiles, they really freak me out.

So I am not sure what was more exciting, the snakes or the guy dressed up as a turtle. Ever since we took her to a UNCW game and she met the seahawk she has been intrigued with anything in costume.

My funny girls
I got the boppy out Friday to see if Macy would like to lay on it. As soon as I put it on the couch Lucy had to hop up there as well and lay with Macy. Of course I got out my camera to get pictures of my sweet babies.
Macy didn't get to lay there too long because Lucy wanted to be all over her.
Grandparents Day at School
Monday Feb 27th was Grandparents Day at school. Since Nonni was here helping me with girls she took Lucy to school.
The Grandparents got to visit their room and the kids could show what they like to play with. As you can see Lucy is with TJ. Jeff and I were debating on 2 or 3 days next year for school and we have decided to go with 3 because most of the other kids in her class are doing 3 as well. I starting feeling too guilty breaking her up from her friends...especially TJ!
I met my mom and Lucy at Chick-fil-a for some lunch. All Lucy wants to eat there is a milkshake and fruit cup. I think she would drink milkshakes every day if I would let her. 
Just a normal day...
One morning I had Macy laying on our bed and of course Lucy had to climb up and lay beside her. Don't you just love the sticker on her forehead.
This is pretty typical every morning...Lucy playing with our touch pad. She comes into our room about 7, climbs in the bed and ask to play with the pad. It is too funny. Just my two girls hanging out in our bed.
Last Sunday afternoon Lucy ate like 6 popsicles while sitting on Jeff. She was being good and snuggling with Jeff so we didn't argue with her on the popsicles. 
Jeff's Family Visits
The weekend after we brought Macy home Jeff's sisters and their families came for a visit. Lucy had a ball playing with Madeline and Anna Grace. Too bad we don't live closer to them since these girls are so close in age and have so much fun with each other.

Lucy's boyfriend, TJ, gave Macy this adorable gown. I just love the whale and that she got something new to wear.
A couple of weeks ago Lucy's artwork was picked to go on the wall. Well of course I had to get a picture of her beautiful artwork with all of the other pretty pictures.

Macy comes home!
Yay! We got our baby girl home. Since she was done with her antibiotics we were able to bring Miss Macy home Sunday Feb 12th. It was wonderful to bring her home and begin our new life as a family of 4, sorry 5, Lando is part of the family as well! Which speaking of Lando, it so funny how this time around he seems so unfazed with Macy. I guess in the past 2 years he has gotten used to the all the crying and screaming...Ha.
Lucy was so excited for Macy to be home. She wanted to be as close as possible and touch her constantly.

We wanted to take Lucy to the hospital to visit Macy before she came home. Since Macy was in the NICU and Lucy could only visit her once. Lucy was so excited to meet her new sister! It was really cute because she kept kissing her on the head and didn't want to put her down.
