Baby Bump

Well, here is an updated picture of me. I went to the doctor on Sept 19th for my ultrasound to found out the sex of the baby. Of course most of you know that we are going to "try" and keep it a secret. Jeff and I are thrilled and very excited about Lucy being a big sister!

15 weeks with Lucy

17 weeks this pregnancy

Just by this picture I feel like my belly was bigger with Lucy. But I feel the same I did last time, fat all over! Ha. Oh well... I like the recent picture, Lucy's high chair and a baby high chair. My how this time is totally different!

Lucy's 2nd Birthday!

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY LUCY!!
Today is my baby girls birthday. It seems like yesterday that I was at the hospital just waiting around for my baby girl to make her appearance. She has brought more happiness to our lives than I could have ever imagined.

We went to Texas Roadhouse with Nana and Paw-Paw for Lucy's birthday dinner. It is a great place to take her because I think she could live off peanuts and it is really loud there. They sang to her and gave her ice cream.
Getting ready for some ice cream! Yum
Once we got home it was time to open presents from Nana and Paw-Paw!

I got this cute banner made for Lucy. It arrived in the mail on her birthday. This is going to be so much fun to put up every year. Check out her website, http://www.etsy.com/people/WigglesGiggles?ref=ls_profile, she has some great stuff for sale.

Sunday night we decided(last minute) to have Lucy a small party. We just ordered some pizza and invited a few friends over. Lucy had a great time playing with Olivia, Kinsley and Ben. Jeff and I got her a kitchen which was big hit with the girls.

Ben and Jason getting ready to enjoy a cake pop
The girls sitting on the couch together. Lucy and Olivia still have their cake pops but Kinsley ate hers in like 2 bites. Ha!
Kinsley enjoying her cake pop.
I put a candle in her cake pop so she we could sing to her and could blow out her candle since I didn't do a traditional cake.
The Birthday Girl!!
Cake pops for the party. Isn't Minnie just the cutest! I decided to do something different and did cake pops. I didn't have to cut cake and have the kids sit at the table to eat. They were so tasty and super easy to serve.
Over the weekend we went to Durham so Jeff and I could go to the Carolina football game(which was a great time since we won)! We haven't been to a game in like 3 years so it was long overdue. Well, during that weekend my parents had a little party at their house. Lucy had a great time eating cake and playing with her new toys.
Minnie Mouse cake. Lucy is Minnie crazy these days so of course my mom had a Minnie cake made for her. For her party there and here we had Minnie plates and napkins appropriately.
Miss Priss got money in her some of her cards and she held it up for everyone to see.

This is just a random post of a few pictures I have taken in the past week. Lucy was not in a great mood last week. She either had a cold or she felt like poop from teething(which of course I blame everything on). I am not sure what I am going to do when the rest of her teeth come in. HaHa!! We did go to the dentist yesterday and Lucy officially has 17 teeth. The dentist could feel the other 3 coming in. It is crazy to think that she almost has a mouth full of teeth.

So, this is her second week of preschool and she is doing great. When I dropped her off today she walked right in class without me. The teacher told me that she hugged and consoled one little boy that was crying. How sweet. I am hoping this means she will be a good big sister!

Isn't this the cutest Halloween bucket you have ever seen. I ordered it last week for her and it came in yesterday. You should check this website out, http://ifyousaysewgifts.com/ She has great stuff and is really fast when ordering.

Lucy and Lando hanging out in the yard one night. It is finally starting to cool off in the evenings so we have spent a lot of time outside. Also, check out the one star converse. They are too stinking cute.
Well, Miss Priss wanted some goldfish. But she also wanted a snack cup. The smart little girl that she is, she wanted to fill the cup up herself. Of course all the goldfish ended up on the floor.
And I imagine Lando ate more than she did!
Posing for the camera
Lucy likes to make this face at us and it cracks me up. She leans her head back, closes her eyes and smiles real big. She is such a little ham

Bathroom Break

This morning Lucy wanted to put her seat on the potty. We were getting ready to head out the door so I didn't bother with taking off her diaper. As soon as she sat down she picked up a magazine "to read." I thought this was priceless. Some how I managed to get her stay there till I got the camera. This little girl is such a hand full.

1st Day of PreSchool

Lucy started preschool Sept 6th. She is going Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11:45 at Scott's Hill Christian Academy. I think this is going to be so good for her and they are going to teach her so much.

So of course like every other mom I wanted to get her picture on the first day of school. Well, Lucy did not want to cooperate with me or the camera. So needless to say we did not get a first day picture that is worth going on the fridge. She had her paci's for the picture but I was able to get her to leave them in the car. She did have to take lambie with her but I'll take that over a paci. Her teacher told me she was good and did not cry. And amazing enough, I did not cry either. Which is impressive with all my extra hormones these days.

Little Miss Drama!!
And we ended up on the floor. Ha!

Cheese Please

During one of my trips to Wal-mart I picked up a can of cheese. I put some on Lucy's finger to eat. She thought that was great and kept wanted more and more. I tried to put it on a cracker after that but she would have none of that, only her fingers. Ha...she is just like her mother.

Then she wanted to due some posing since the camera was out.

Aquarium

The three of us went to the aquarium Labor Day. Lucy's favorite animals are the turtles and alligators.

Once we were done we walked around outside. Of course she seemed more interested with the fake frog than the real animals inside. Doesn't that figure.

Lil' Tar Heel

For the first football game this year I dressed Lucy up in a Carolina cheerleader outfit. She was too darn cute. But as usual...she did not want to pose for her picture.

I have no idea what she is doing here but she looks pretty funny

Ocean Isle Beach

This year we went to Ocean Isle for Jeff's family vacation. Due to Jeff's new job he could not get the week off so he just drove back and forth everyday. It really stunk not having him there during the day but it was worth it for Lucy to spend time with the Barnwell's. We had a great trip in a beautiful big house. The house also had a golf cart. Those girls wanted to ride it all the time.

One night while there we went to a place called Planet Fun. Lucy and girls had a great time. They rode on a couple rides but their favorite thing was the bouncy house with slide. The girls would slide, run back to the bouncy house and slide again. They were a hoot.

Lucy likes to slide on her belly.

Playing on the beach with the girls, Aunt Angela and Uncle Josh

They buried Josh to his head! They thought it was fun to sand all over him

So serious

Yep, that's Josh under there.
