A little Macy action

I put Macy in the Bumbo and Lucy had to get the Boppy to sit in.  I thought I would snap a few pictures them.  Macy just cracks me up how she lights up when she smiles.  She has the most contagious smile
Then I get this serious face
And onto the old man with no teeth face!
 Chunky Monkey Cheeks!
 Laughing at her silly sister
 Lucy is mocking Macy

Grandma Loretta

My mom and Loretta were in Myrtle Beach for the weekend and came through Wilmington on their home.  Loretta got to spend some time with Lucy and meet Macy for the first time.
Of course, Lucy has to be eating in the picture

3 Months

Where does the time go?  I can't believe that on May 4th my baby girl turned 3 months.  Aagghh...
She is getting so big.  She loves to lay on her play mat and grab her toys.  She is already wearing 6 months clothes.  I had to pull them out to wash and hang in her closet.  Geesh!

Pure Love

I feel like I take a ton of pictures these days but I want to capture as many moments as possible.  I just adore Lucy's face in this one.  I have no idea how she got her lips to do that!
 Sweet Sweet Babies
I knew it would be hard to get both of them for a picture but I had no idea it would be this hard.
Lucy loves to touch Macy and hold her hand.  Macy was crying the other day so I put my had on her cheek  to calm her down.  Well, Miss Lucy had to move my hand and put her hand on her cheek!  On another note, Lucy was laying with Macy and Macy touched her.  Lucy had to push Macy's hand away and tell her to keep her hands to herself.  Ha!  Guess she learned that one at school

Strawberries and Ice Cream

We finally made it to Lewis Farm for Lucy to pick some strawberries.  I think she ate more than she picked.  But I am not sure if she enjoyed the strawberries or ice cream more.

What a face?!  I love this.  Thinking really hard with ice cream running out of her mouth

And yes Macy came too.  I know all of my pictures are of Lucy but once Macy is on the move I am sure it will be flooded with her as well.
 Yummy!  She loved the cone.

Happy Birthday to me

I got the Bumbo out for Macy to try   As you can see the big sister decides she needs it more.  I am starting to think this is how it is going to be all of Macy's life
This year for my birthday my mom came to watch the girls.  She got here Friday so Jeff and I could go to a benefit concert at Wild Wing Cafe.  Then we left Saturday morning and headed to Myrtle Beach for the night.  This was our first time away since Macy was born.  We enjoyed just sitting on the beach all day and then eating a late dinner.  I have to admit we were in the bed by 10:30 and that was ok with both us.

For dinner Friday night we went to one of my favorite places, K-38.  Apparently Lucy thought her cheese dip was tasty.

A little sister bonding at the restaurant.

When we got home Jeff had a mini party for me.  He got party hats and noise makers.  Funny thing is that they didn't make any noise.  Good thing Lucy didn't know any different.
And my favorite...cupcakes from Coastal Cupcakes!  Yummy

Field Day

On April 27th, Lucy's school had a field day.  While waiting our turn to play at the different stations Lucy decided to hang out with the boys!  I am going to be in so much trouble in the teenage years.

Lucy and Banks.  Of course Lucy still loves TJ but she has really taken to Banks in past couple of weeks.

One boy is not enough!  HeHe.  Hudson, Lucy and Banks
Her face cracks me up here

Such a creative game, put water in a cup and walk it over to a bucket and pour it in.  For some reason the kids loved it

I love this game.  They just put on an intertube and ran around cones.
 Chasing after Banks

Daddy Time

Typically Jeff reads to Lucy before bed every night.  Lately we have been putting Macy in there as well.  Macy loves to read with them.  She coo's the entire time she lays there.
Did you check out the book.  Yep, Halloween book in April!!  HaHa.  Lucy calls it the itsy bitsy spider book and for some reason she loves it.
I could stare at this face all day long.

My Sweet Girls

These 2 girls light up my life.  They are so incredibly sweet and I could not imagine my life without them.
I love the way Macy looks at Lucy.  They have so much love for each other already and I pray that it stays this way and they are always best friends.

 Awwww.....

Lucy loves to kiss Macy.  Macy will be sitting in my lap and Lucy will walk to her and kiss and hug her.  It melts my heart every time.

Azalea Festival

Azalea Festival was the second weekend in April this year.  Jeff's parents came down to spend some time with the girls.  We had a nice weekend with beautiful weather.

This picture has nothing to do with Azalea Festival but I had to add it because both of their faces are hilarious
We decided to go downtown on Sunday this year.  We just walked around and window shopped the different vendors.  Lowe's had a booth set up for kids to make bird feeders with the peanut butter and bird seed.
She is just adorable posing for the camera in her Lowe's apron
There was a fire truck so Lucy had to climb up on the back...
as well as get inside and drive!
Then we found Home Depot booth and got to plant a flower.

This of course was her favorite thing about Azalea Festival.  The Home Depot guy.  She had to hug him, give him five, a kiss and dance with him.  She cracks me up how she is obsessed with anything in costume.

When we got home Lucy had to put her bird feeder on the tree.  She also had to wear the hat that
Paw-Paw bought her while we were there.
Love this...new hat on and her hands on her hips

Paw-Paw bought some doughnuts Friday night.  Before she took a nap she wanted one.  How funny..she had chocolate and creme all over her face.  I guessing it was good, Ha!
