A little visit

Jeff's Aunt Emily and Uncle Bill came to Wilmington for a few days.  While they were here they visited us to see Lucy and meet Macy.  We took them over to the "new" house to show them the progress.  After that we went out the beach for a yummy dinner at BlueWater.
It didn't take long for Lucy to warm up to Bill.  He gave her a few quarters and a dollar. She has them in her coin purse and tells us that "Bill gave them to her"!

Henrietta

My parents brought Lucy back to Wilmington on Tuesday and we met them for a little boat ride.  I have never been on the the Henrietta and it was fun riding up the river and seeing the ports
Eating a little snack while Macy sleeps.
 Checking out the scenery
Macy slept and ate on the cruise

 And onto another snack
 Ready for the ride
All the girls!
Whew...that boat ride really wore her out!

Easter Day

Happy Easter!  I am finally getting around to posting this.  Lucy was so excited about the Easter Bunny this year.  She told me he was going to come to her house in a car and put jelly beans in eggs and put a chocolate bunny in her basket.  Amazing...he did exactly that!

She told me to leave her basket in the floor in the living room.  On her way to our room that she grabbed it and came in.  She told us that I put the stuff in her basket!!

Then we packed up and headed down to Myrtle Beach for the day.  Brad, Samantha, Morgan and Caroline were there.  Lucy could not wait to get there and see them and ride on the golf cart.  She had no idea but we left Lucy their with the girls till Tuesday.  We weren't sure how she would be without us but apparently she was just fine!

Nonni and Grandaddy gave Lucy a Donald Duck that makes way too much noise for Easter.  But he is pretty cute
Brad had to have a turn holding Macy.  He thought he would funny and let her talk on his iphone.  Playing on the phone really wore her out!

Easter Part 3

Our church had a big Easter egg hunt for the kids the Saturday before Easter.  We decided to take Lucy thinking she would have a good time.  So, she didn't have a good time...she had a fantastic time.  We started off with the hunt which Jeff helped her with.  Each egg had candy in it so that was right up her alley!
Yay for Easter eggs with candy
Then we headed over to the face paint.  She has never had her face painted before and she thought that was wonderful.  We did a flower on one side and a butterfly on the other

This church is the same place that Lucy goes to preschool so we had to take Daddy to see the horses and sheep.  We even ended up on the playground.  I found a caterpillar and of course Lucy wanted to hold it.  I am not quite sure where she got this animal obsession from.
One of the biggest highlights of the day for Lucy was riding a horse.  They had a pony but we got over there too late and he was done.  Well, I couldn't let my little girl down so we let her ride the horse.  I was a little nervous but she did great.  I may be in trouble in a few years...horses are an expensive hobby!
 Holding on for dear life

Lollipop, Lollipop, Oh LolliLollipop

The other day Amy bought Lucy this dress because she said it looked like a popsicle dress.  Well, we decided to have a big lollipop instead.  She is just too darn cute!

Lando loves his sisters

These pictures are too funny of the girls.  We were getting ready for bed one night and I got a few pictures of all three "kids"

Doesn't he look excited

Big ol' smooch.  He still likes her since she can't aggravate him yet.

2 Months!

As of April 4th my sweet Macy is 2 months old.  She has only been with us 2 months but it seems like she has always been here.  It's like I don't even remember life before her.  These two girls make my life complete and my family whole.

What a funny face..she looks just like Jeff here.  It is amazing how much Macy has changed this month. She is always smiling and cooing at us.  She is grabbing for our nose and lips.  But I think her favorite thing is to grab Lucy's hair.  Today she did it and Lucy told her to keep her hands to herself. Ha!  Yesterday in the car, she was talking to a frog on her car seat.  It is so darn cute.

A couple of weeks ago Lindsay and I took the kids to Monkey Joes.  It is just a place that has a bunch of inflatables to jump in and slide down.  They had an absolute blast.  She keeps talking about going back.   Isn't he cutest thing.  It's no wonder Lucy calls him her boyfriend.
