First Hair Cut

Well, I finally bit the bullet and got Lucy's hair cut.  I was so sad because I knew all of her sweet curls would be gone.
She was not very excited about gerring her hair cut.  She did better with the hair dryer than the cutting.
And after...we didn't cut much.  Just enough to get the ends off.  Then off course they spray a ton of glitter in her hair that takes a week to wash out.

Poplar Grove

Every year Poplar Grove Plantation has a Halloween Festival.  Lindsay and I left the little girls home and took TJ and Lucy for some fun. I love The smile on TJ's face while looking a Lucy!
Having fun in the bounce house
Lucy loves any character in costume

Some random pictures

I just love this picture of Macy and Lando.  We are so truly lucky to have such an easy going, laid back dog.  He puts up with so much with these two girls, especially Lucy!  He doesn't look very happy but he loves his sisters.  Jeff and I do feel bad because we just can't give him the same attention as before the girls.  But he knows we love him.
Lucy went upstairs one afternoon and I didn't think much about it.  She had been gone about 10 minutes and it was too quiet.  This is what I found.  She told me that she wanted to put lotion on her face.  What in the world?
Oh my goodness...I just love this little face
Lucy artwork was picked at school and put on the special wall.
 My beautiful artist
That's pretty impressive.  Only my child could make a puff stick to her head without trying
The neighborhood down the street from us has a little pond with fish and turtles.  We took Ben over to feed them.

Making sure the fish and turtles get it all

8 months

I took Lucy to Sweet and Sassy to get her ears pierced.  We made a deal a few weeks prior that if she gave up her paci then we would get her ears pierced.  One morning she woke up and told me it was time.  She did as expected...screamed for about a minute and then she was alright. Since that night we have been paci free.  Thank goodness, it was easier than I thought it would be!!
This sweet baby girl is 8 months old!!
 She cracks me up
She held her sign up to make sure we knew :)

Lucy's Birthday Party!

This year we had decided to do Lucy's party at Port City Gymnastics.  I had no desire to have kids at our house since we had only been in it for a month.  It would have been a disaster.  This was way easier.  I want to give a big thank you to everyone who came to the party.  You all made her party very special

I just love her Hello Kitty cupcake cake

This girl loves the rings.  Check out the left arm...the cast only came off the day before.  But it didn't slow her down from having lots of fun
Two cute girls...Macy and Savannah.  They are only 7 days apart
Caroline, Lucy and Ryder on the trampoline
I love the face Ben is making here
Kinsley, Ryder and Landon in the pit
 Landon, Hudson and Banks
Kinsley looks like she is really enjoying herself
TJ and Banks making their way on the beam.  Baby Wyatt and Harper are hanging out in the background
Yep, I got in the pit with the girls
Grandaddy took a time-out to feed Macy
Wyatt making his way down the trampoline to the pit.  I like how they are all on one end
 Cake time
 Yummy!!
What beautiful lipstick this icing makes
Little sister had to partake in the icing as well!

Love my girls

My parents came down for Lucy's birthday party(which we didn't have till 2 weeks after her real  birthday).  Caroline was able to come and join in for the fun.  That Friday night we all went out to dinner.  Lucy picked her favorite restaurant...K38.  Yummy!
This is one of Macy's favorite things to do these days...hang out in the bathroom and play with the water in our tub.  Her nickname has become "trouble" since she is always into something.
On our way to Lucy's party

Little Lucy

I went to pick up Lucy from school one day and this how I found her.  She told me was a football player.  She is so silly.
Now that is some good sleeping.  Lucy has decided that she does not take naps anymore.  Lovely!!  But if you put her in the car or in the swing around nap time she is out.
The big day!!  Lucy got her cast off.  But as you can see by her face, she was not happy at all.  Really?!  What child wants to keep their cast on?  Guess she really enjoyed all that attention!
