My Silly Girl

One night Lucy was playing around and climbed into her drum. She thought she was too funny and wanted me to take her picture. Getting pictures of this little girl smiling these days are almost impossible!

It was starting to rain so Lucy was watching it out the window. But my favorite part of this picture is her curls! They are so stinking cute.

Time for Play-Doh

I finally broke down and bought Lucy some play-doh. She had a ball playing with it. The set she is playing with was Jeff's was he was a kid. It made it through him and all these years so lets see if she can keep it in one piece.

Twinkie Time

Well, Miss Lucy has now been introduced to twinkies. She thought it was was so much fun to eat and of course loved them.

As you can see Lando is trying to steal it from her.

This is pretty good mom
Taking a break and apparently going to share with me

Ben's Birthday Party

We attended Ben's 4th birthday party July 23rd. What a fun day for SO many kids. Ben picked spider-man for the theme of his party. Even though he had a huge spider-man cake, Crystal also made cupcakes for the children to decorate. Lucy had a great time decorating her cupcake. It really turned into Jeff decorating and Lucy eating all the M&M's.

Cheese....

One of Lucy's favorite things lately is to scream cheese as soon as she sees the camera. I wanted everyone else to look at that face that I see everyday. She is just too funny. Everyday is something different that absolutely cracks me up. She is a little firecracker always pushing her limits. One minute she wants to hug and kiss me and the next she is throwing a fit. She sure keeps me on my toes! I had no idea before her that I could love one little girl this much.

July 4th 2011

Over July 4th weekend our friends Wesley, Brittany and their 3 month old son Christian came for a visit. We haven't hung out with them in a couple years and it was so nice to finally have a long visit with the Allen family.

We got a cookie cake for the 4th and I would have to say Lucy enjoyed it more than anyone else.

Lucy had so much fun talking to "the baby"
The best picture I could get with Lucy smiling with Christian. She didn't want to take her eyes off of him.
He is the cutest thing. And probably the best baby I have EVER been around. Wesley and Brittany are very lucky. When we told them Lucy's colic stories I think they really understood how lucky they are.

Shoe Girl

So one morning Lucy was attempting to put on her shoes. Next thing I know she comes running up to me all excited. She got them on(which is the first time she has done this by herself) and of course they are on the wrong feet. But we kept them on that way even though were on our way out the door.

Just like all little girls, Lucy loves to play with shoes. She especially loves my high heels. One night right before bed she came out of my closet with a heel. She actually does really good walking in them.
