Ocean Isle

The second week in June we headed to OIB for our yearly family vacation with Jeff's family. The girls are at the age that they had a wonderful time playing together.  The first day they all had to climb up on the bunk beds.

One evening we headed to the park for some fun
Josh had as much fun as the girls
Lucy had to do a little hanging.
This has got to be one of the funniest faces I have ever seen.  Anna Grace is a riot

4 Months!

I can not believe that my baby girl is 4 months old.  A week after her 4 month mark she rolled over.  It is really funny because she rolls from her back to belly but will not roll herself back over to her belly.  Of course she can get it the hard way but not the easier direction.
And this is how her pictures turn out.  Lucy hopping in.
I pray they stay this way but Lucy absolutely loves Macy.
I am sure what this fingers taste like but they must be delicious!

Princess Lucy

Lucy wanted to get dressed up the other day.  I love how she puts on a dress, a skirt, shoes and 2 tiara's.  Which she did all of this on her own. This little girl cracks me up.

This is her version of striking a pose... Vogue!
 And puckering her lips.  HeHe.
That night she found one of the pieces that attaches to the breast pump.  She picked it up, pulled up her shirt and put right in place.  I had to take a picture of this!  It's amazing what they pick up on and remember since I haven't used the pump in 3 months.
 Macy looks like a frog

Monkey Joe's and Chick-fil-a

I put Macy's headband on her for our outing today.  I put in the car seat, grabbed a couple of things and when I walked over to her to leave this is what I saw.  Poor baby.  Guess we will have to wait a few more months to wear this.  HaHa.
Lucy and TJ driving the train.  Don't you love her miss matched socks.  Yep, she picked them out!
I just love this look on her face.
These two are an absolute mess.  For some reason they thought the booth was a playground.  They were rolling all around acting so silly.

Memorial Day Weekend

I wasn't sure if we should tackle the beach on a crazy weekend but it ended up being the best idea.  Saturday was way too windy so we didn't stay very long and went back Monday.  Monday was a great day out there.  Lucy had so much fun we had to put more money in the meter.
 I have no idea!
 Sleepy baby

TJ, water table and Miss Macy

Lindsay and I took the kids to a park for a bird special they were doing.  We thought they would enjoy this but we were so wrong.  They had way more fun playing at park instead.  Of course, we plan something fun to do and they just want to swing.  Ha.
I love the look on TJ's face here.  He is having a ball
It's water table time.  This is Lucy's new favorite thing to do.  Put on her bathing suit and play in the water.

Well hello there cutie pie!!  I am in love with these chunky cheeks.
Macy loves her play mat.  She likes to push up on her heels and move off of her mat and across the floor. I walked by the other day and she was moving herself around.
 Sweetness!!

A Few First for Macy

On May 20th I decided to try Macy in the excersaucer.  She wasn't quite sure what to do with all these new toys around her but she seemed pretty happy to hang out in there.
Poor thing, her feet don't even touch yet!

The next day we tried her out on some cereal.  She wasn't really sure what to think of this eating thing.  I am pretty sure more came out of her mouth than stayed in.
But at least she smiled about it!
That night we put the girls in the double stroller together with Macy actually sitting like a big girl.  She straps are so big that I am not real sure if they are doing any good.  But in the blink of an eye I'll have to loosen them up.
