Monkey Joe's and Chick-fil-a

I put Macy's headband on her for our outing today.  I put in the car seat, grabbed a couple of things and when I walked over to her to leave this is what I saw.  Poor baby.  Guess we will have to wait a few more months to wear this.  HaHa.
Lucy and TJ driving the train.  Don't you love her miss matched socks.  Yep, she picked them out!
I just love this look on her face.
These two are an absolute mess.  For some reason they thought the booth was a playground.  They were rolling all around acting so silly.

Memorial Day Weekend

I wasn't sure if we should tackle the beach on a crazy weekend but it ended up being the best idea.  Saturday was way too windy so we didn't stay very long and went back Monday.  Monday was a great day out there.  Lucy had so much fun we had to put more money in the meter.
 I have no idea!

TJ, water table and Miss Macy

Lindsay and I took the kids to a park for a bird special they were doing.  We thought they would enjoy this but we were so wrong.  They had way more fun playing at park instead.  Of course, we plan something fun to do and they just want to swing.  Ha.
I love the look on TJ's face here.  He is having a ball
It's water table time.  This is Lucy's new favorite thing to do.  Put on her bathing suit and play in the water.

Well hello there cutie pie!!  I am in love with these chunky cheeks.
Macy loves her play mat.  She likes to push up on her heels and move off of her mat and across the floor. I walked by the other day and she was moving herself around.
 Sweetness!!

A Few First for Macy

On May 20th I decided to try Macy in the excersaucer.  She wasn't quite sure what to do with all these new toys around her but she seemed pretty happy to hang out in there.
Poor thing, her feet don't even touch yet!

The next day we tried her out on some cereal.  She wasn't really sure what to think of this eating thing.  I am pretty sure more came out of her mouth than stayed in.
But at least she smiled about it!
That night we put the girls in the double stroller together with Macy actually sitting like a big girl.  She straps are so big that I am not real sure if they are doing any good.  But in the blink of an eye I'll have to loosen them up.

School Program and Last Day of School

Lucy's little class got to perform for the end of the year program.  They got up on stage and sang 2 songs.
Lucy and TJ with their teachers this year, Mrs Ingalls and Mrs Sullivan.  We were so lucky that she got two amazing teachers.  I am amazed at how much she learned and grew this year.

Last day of school.  Lucy wanted to wear a headband.  Since she had one on she wanted Macy to wear one as well!  Ha.  As well as take their picture together.
I love the rain boots with the dress.  It wasn't even raining that day but hey, you pick your battles!

This and That

Macy is just too stinking cute.  She was sitting up on the couch and the next time I turned around she was laying down.
Oh my goodness, I could just look at this sweet face all day

The Easter Bunny brought this bunny face sucker.  She finally got around to eating it

The Zoo and Mother's Day

Jeff and I went to Durham over Mother's Day weekend.  That Saturday we took Lucy to zoo and left Macy with my mom.  She had a great time.  I think her favorite part were the fake Dinosaurs, of course!
 She was pooped.
Happy Mother's Day with my two sweet girls!  There is nothing else I could ask for for Mother's Day than loving on my baby girls.  Brad, Samantha and the girls came over for lunch.  My mom took all the girls, minus Lucy and Macy to see Wicked for our birthday presents.  It was a wonderful play and a great way to spend out birthdays together.
