Big News...

The second week in June Jeff and I got some great news. I was a few days late and thought maybe we should get a test to be sure. I had only been off the pill a month so I figured it couldn't have happened so quick. Well, I was wrong and tickled pink or blue were Jeff and me. We are due February 13th. I am just crossing my fingers that the baby and I make it to February! As of today(August 13th) I am feeling pretty good. Some days are better than others. It is certainly different this time around with having an almost 2 year old. So far I have had 3 ultra sounds(with probably a ton more to come) and the baby looks great. We find out on Lucy's birthday, Sept 19th, what we are having! Jeff and I have decided to find out the sex but keep it a secret.

We gave the Lucy the stick trying to get her to look at it with her surprise face...
And this is what we got!

Nana and Paw-Paw Visit

The first weekend in June Jeff's parents came down for a visit. Lucy had a ball playing with them. She is a little bossy at times and tells them what to do. Like, "Nana, sit down" while she is patting her hand on the floor. As you can see in the picture below, they do exactly what she says! She wanted them to sit on her little couch with her.

Saturday we all loaded up and went to the North End. Lucy had so much fun walking them all over the place.

Strawberry Picking

Memorial Day weekend we decided to take Lucy to Lewis's to pick strawberries. She thought it was great. She would pick one, take a few bites and then pick another one. Lucy was too cute that day.

One for each hand.
So I got Lucy some of their delicious strawberry ice cream. As you can see the cone has no ice cream and she is eating the bottom of the cone. I had to take the ice cream and put it in a cup since the cone apparently tasted better.
Poor little girl had a virus during this. We had been to the doctor the morning before because she woke with a horrible rash. Doctor said it was just roseola. She was fine but her little face, neck, chest and back looked so bad.

Beach Time

I decided to attempt taking Lucy to the beach by myself. I had no idea how it would be just the two of us. I was totally shocked and Lucy was perfect. She had so much fun playing in the tide pools and digging in the sand. We had such a nice time that we will be going back more during the week.

She played so hard that she had to take a cracker break.

Parmesan Cheese

This post is just too funny to me. One night Jeff and I were eating spaghetti with of course some Parmesan cheese. Well, Little Miss had to have some on her tray. I mean really...Parmesan cheese is not very tasty alone. But some nights we just give her whatever she wants.

One of her favorite things is to eat like Lando. She will put her head down and eat her food without any hands. So this night she ate the cheese that way.

Dancing with the Groom

Jeff's sister, Alison, got married May 21st. As soon as the DJ started playing music Lucy decided to get down. She stared shaking her booty. It was too funny watching her shake all around.
Johnathan, the groom, made a pit stop to dance with Lucy
During the father/daughter dance the DJ asked all the Dads to come up and dance. Lucy would have been fine dancing with Jeff but cake had just been served and she done with him(which was some delicious cake Alison). So the quality of the picture didn't turn out get due to Lucy squirming to get back to the table

My New 'Do

A couple of weeks ago I went into Lucy's room to get her up from her nap. Her hair bows hang on the wall near her bed. She kept pointing over to them and wanted to keep putting more in her hair. It was too cute. Of course I had to give her a mirror to check herself out.

Paci and Bow...What a beautiful combination
