15 Months

Our baby girl is not a baby anymore. I cannot believe that she is already 15 months old. What a big difference from last Christmas! Lucy is the funniest thing and is always cracking Jeff and I up.

She is still NOT walking. She has a stroller that she walks all over the house but will not let go. She is terrified to just let go and take off. We can get her to stand up alone and she has taken a few steps but I think 3 is about all she will do.

She is making up for the not walking in her talking. She tries to repeat everything we say. If she is not talking then she is singing or making some animal noise. My favorite word she says is "thank you".

Lucy still loves her Lando and feeds him all the time. Can't say that Lando really loves her except for when he is eating goldfish or oyster crackers. Ha

For her check-up she was 22.9 lbs(46%) and 31.2 inches tall(72%). She is right on track for her growth and the doctor said she looked great.

Silly Lucy

Lucy is such a funny girl. Who needs the blocks inside the container when it will fit on your head. She thinks this is so much fun.

Christmas with the Barnwell's

We stayed Christmas eve at my parents and Santa delivered Lucy's presents to their house. She didn't get a whole lot but just enough from him. She went straight to her Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

We then headed to Youngsville to do Christmas Day with Jeff's family. The three girls, Anna Grace, Madeline and Lucy enjoyed opening all of their presents. And each of them got a ton from their Paw-Paw and Nana. They are some spoiled little girls.
Opening presents is fabulous. She looks pretty excited about her little people train.

Alison got a mount for her deer head for the next time she goes hunting. This is the perfect gift for our only vegetarian in the family.

Lucy loves her Daddy

I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Christmas with the Scott's

Jeff, Lucy, Lando and I went to Durham Thursday night after I got off work. Christmas Eve day my family gets together for our Christmas festivities. We had a great time eating, eating and eating a little more. As well as eating we had a good laugh when Brad dressed up as an elf...red tights and all.

Lucy loves her Grandaddy!
She has him wrapped around her finger
Even Lando wanted in on Lucy's presents. She LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and this the set of all the characters...needless to say she thought it was wonderful.

Visiting Santa

We took Lucy to the mall for a visit with Santa. Once Jeff scans the picture in I will add it on here. She had absolutely no expression or emotion for him. She looked at us and the lady taking the picture like we had 2 heads.

While at the mall we let Lucy ride the carousel for the first time. She thought it was so much fun sitting on the horse getting ready to go. Well that smile faded once we started moving.
As you can see she just leaned back with a very uncertain look on her face.

Lucy and I decided on a reindeer for the holiday season.

8K

The weekend before Thanksgiving Leah and I ran an 8k in Hampstead. We made it and had a great time running that morning...we even made a friend! Corey, Kinsley, Jeff and Jeff's dad Wayne were waiting for us at the finish line(Lucy was at home with her Nana).

Thanksgiving day I ran a Turkey Trot with Brad and Samantha in Wake Forest. Wow, what a difference all the hills make when I am so use to the flat roads of Wilmington. It was a very challenging race for me but certainly worth it.

Lucy got a sock monkey from her Aunt Linda and Uncle Ray.
